If it wasn’t for RB Donald Brown, the Vikings would have dominated the Colts in the 1st half of the game.
Here are my notes on the game:
Vikings - starting offense had 3 drives
- If Vikings fans aren’t blind, they’d see it’s a travesty that Sage Rosenfels will not be their starting QB this year. His 3 drives in this game showed that he’s a perfect fit for this Vikings offense. He didn’t have Berrian (got hurt during game) and Harvin (didn’t play) and still shredded the defense through the air hitting Schiancoe over and over again.
- AP and Chester ran all over Indy’s defense
- The Vikings O-Line is just sick, sick, sick. One of the best I’ve seen thus far this preseason.
Colts - starting offense had 2 drives
- Peyton Manning was under so much pressure no fantasy relevant WRs/TEs made any catches (Wayne, Gonzalez, or Clark)
- Indy’s RBs are the only fantasy players that did anything. He didn’t have a lot of carries, but Addai still looked really good running with a purpose. Rookie RB Donald Brown, on the other hand, looked phenomenal, making all the defenders look like they were in slo-mo
