I don’t usually write articles like this, but every so often the media “spins” a story a certain way which leads to a lot of hate, anger, and/or frustation by its readers/listeners.  This is one of those examples.

The Monday following the Week 12 Sunday games (November 24th), the talk all over sports radio and in news articles was about McNabb getting benched and Reid getting fired.  Most Eagles fans were ready to part ways with Reid/McNabb, and most fantasy owners were looking to their backup QBs for Week 13 and beyond.  News that McNabb and his wife were having twins was not reported prior to Week 12 or prior to Week 11, when the Eagles tied the lowly Bengals.  As anyone should know, when a mother is pregnant to give birth to more than one child, there’s a higher risk of complications.  McNabb, as we, is a human being and his poor performance could have very well been affected by this.  But, no media outlet covered this news having at least a little compassion for McNabb.  Instead, fans were outraged, which should have never been, if the news was reported as it should have been.
