Today is the day we get to reflect back on the draft and assess whether or not we need to panic or feel really good.  Normally week 1 shouldn’t cause a dramatic reaction to the former and the latter but for those who drafted Brady you should definitely be in panic mode and rightly so.  He was drafted to be the cornerstone of your team with visions of championship and nothing less.  Hope you drafted a competent backup cause the waiver wire will be like Black Friday this week but without the inventory.

Michael Turner was everything we thought he’d be and Ricky Williams was nothing like we hoped he’d be.   It was nice to see Favre running around like a kid again.  You have to love his passion for the game and from his outing yesterday he’s not a bad QB2 option.

Speaking of QBs…  Palmer..  Palmer.. Palmer where art thou.  Don’t panic though he got off to a slow start last year.  They’ll be playing from behind in a lot of games so he’ll get those “garbage yards”.

Congrats if you were lucky enough to draft Willie Parker because you probably got him at a great value.   And speaking of a value Forte and Chris Johnson were explosive and dynamic and will probably be on a lot of starting rosters next week. 

Seattle is done and I don’t want anyone from that team well maybe the cheerleaders but that’s a different story and a different site.  Buffalo looked tough especially their defense.  I hope you had them on your starting roster.

It must have been the foot because Braylon Edwards was horrible.  He’s already on pace to break the regular season dropped passes record.  Derek Anderson can already hear the crowd starting to chant for Quinn.  Brady Brady Brady………

Plaxico was catching everything that was thrown in his direction.  Matt Ryan and Flacco were surprising but don’t rush out and give up the farm for them quite yet.  Both were playing suspect teams that could have made a high school quarterback look good so be patient and see how it plays out.  If you absolutely had to have one on your team I would make it Ryan.

Carolina backfield looked to continue its RBBC which doesn’t help those who drafted Stewart and Williams in hope to catch a starter in the late rounds.  Well Reggie Bush, thanks for showing up 3 years late.  Can you show up again next week or do we have to continue this “what could have been” for you?
