The Seattle Seahawks signed two 26 year old RBs Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett. Poor Julius Jones cannot get away from TD Vulture RB teammates. Last year was Jones’ least productive year. At times, it was almost like he was an afterthought in the Cowboys offense. In Detroit last year, with limited touches, Duckett averaged 5.2 yards/carry…not too shabby. In Seattle, Jones should be the clear starter for the entire 2008 season. Unfortunately for Jones, Duckett will probably get the majority of the touches when the ball is between the 10 yard line and the goal line. Jones will definitely get over 1,000 yards rushing with 300+ yards receiving. Either Jones or Duckett will have 10+ TDs by the end of 2008. It all depends on how Duckett starts the season. If he starts too slow, they’ll give up on him and Jones will be a true RB1.
